The aim here is to show that world-class players also use(d) basic soccer skills. These skills may be taught to them, but also are quite often copied from others. This proves the fact that these skills are nurture, and not nature. The only difference between the usage of skills by world-class players and other players is the world-class players’ higher action rate and their knowledge of how to use a certain skill on the right place and within the right situation.

"I always admired Zinedine Zidane. He didn't do tricks for the sake of it. He never wanted to show off. He just played a clever game. He is the player who decides games. I watched his technique and tried to do that in my game, and a lot of times it worked."
